1. Physical Fabrication

  • Subtractive: ShopBot and laser cutter Machine will be used to construct my door for my final project.
  • Additive: 3D Printer will be used to make ESP32 CAM cover and Electronic base parts.
  • Plan for Redesign and Re-fabrication: I will design minimum two type of 3D design for ESP32_CAM cover and if possible i want to design a door with support in shopbot.
  • 2. Electronics & Power

  • Micro-controller Board: what MCU? how many digital/analog pins required to connect FP devices?: I will be using AtTiny1614 microcontroller and Total required pins: 8 but i will be re-designing my final project board
  • Input(s) & circuit/power requirements: Input - ESP32-CAM with 5V adapter and Telegram App
  • Output(s) & circuit/power requirements: Image from Telegram and Solidino lock with 12V adapter.
  • Power Source(s): AC Power form the socket
  • Wiring, Switches & Connectors (more challenging for smaller enclosures): I was thinking to keep all the wires at the back side of my door with prefect connection.
  • Circuit design & fabrication time planning: I need to re-design my circuit and for fabrication it wont take time as my final project is small
  • Programming > Modules

  • Input(s): ESP32-CAM will send the image to Telegram app to notify there is some at the door and from telegram app it will send the command to unlock/lock the solidino loock.
  • Output(s): Solidino lock will command through telegram app
  • Aggregation Logic - The main Logic in the programming will be to ask the Telegram to send the image from ESP32-CAM and then send the message to ESP32 cam to unlock and lock the solidino lock.
  • Plan for plenty of Debugging - Figuring out how to communicate ESP32-CAm with Telegram app to make solidino lock and unlock.
  • Project Assembly

    In my project i will be using hot glue gun, door hinches, screw and connectors wires.

  • Function description: ESp32-CAM detect the image and send to telegram app, from Telegram Bot ID it will send a command to lock/unlock the door.
  • Component description: Door and Frame will be Assemble together with the base support and all the electronic will be covered at the back of door.
  • Narrative: auto/smart security door
  • Process: As some one rings the door bell, telegram app with send the message to MCU board to send image to telegram bot ID, so from telegram bot ID it will command to lock and unlock the door.
